Kinect for PC

Microsoft sold 10 million Kinect devices 2010 putting it in the guiness book of records.  This however was only for the xbox 360 platform.  Since then numerous developers and hackers have got together to build drivers for PC.

One company even held a competition, offering $2000 to the first person who developed a kinect driver.  Now, you can download the official SDK from Microsoft allowing you to build apps for Kinect.  You can download the drivers here:  http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/um/redmond/projects/kinectsdk/download.aspx
